Munich, Germany — Cornerstone International Foundation, today announced the appointment of Ms. Gretchen Kobayashi as the Foundation’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking an exciting step forward in the organization’s continued growth and global mission.
Based in Munich, Germany, Cornerstone International works across humanitarian assistance, sustainable development and community empowerment initiatives, supporting vulnerable and underserved communities in diverse regions around the world. As CFO, Ms. Kobayashi will join the executive leadership team and help guide the Foundation’s financial vision, operational sustainability and long-term institutional development.
In her new role, Ms. Kobayashi will oversee financial strategy, budgeting, governance, compliance, risk management, and organizational planning, while helping strengthen the systems and structures that support the Foundation’s expanding international programs and partnerships.
Ms. Kobayashi brings extensive experience in financial leadership, strategic operations and organizational management, with a professional background defined by integrity, collaboration and a strong commitment to mission-driven impact. Throughout her career, she has successfully led financial and operational initiatives that improved efficiency, strengthened accountability and positioned organizations for sustainable growth.
Her appointment comes at a transformative period for Cornerstone International as the Foundation continues to expand its presence and deepen its impact across Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
